I cheated…
Yes, I’m ashamed to admit it. I cheated.
I mentioned before that I was going to do this whole semester using Google Docs to do the core work. I couldn’t fulfill that, because of the two weekly reports I have to do. It would have been just as much work for me to write up the reports then import them into word, do all the formatting, as it took me to just open winword and write up the document.
So, I cheated, and just did it. I did (trying to absolve myself here) import the document into Google Docs however, more or less to maybe leave a template for me to use, so I can continue on with the experiment.
I think, however, that in this regard, the document writer in Google Apps isn’t going to meet my expectations. Tis’ a great tool to write notes and so forth, but for specific APA formatting, it’s not so hot.
I will try the ThinkFree that I mentioned before. This, however, is still using another program out of the domain of Google, so it’s still not meeting the requirements I set forth.
Other than that, the Google Notebook is working terrifically.
