Within the first 100 days, and he’s all smurfy

So far we have seen:

Mr Obama not put all that much concentration on what he said he’d concentrate on, the economic problems.  If he’d spent an extra hour maybe catching that loophole congress left in there and Treasury pushed wouldn’t have been exploited by AIG.  But yes, there are talk shows to think about…priority is looking good for the self serving narcissist.  Really though, the headline is Obama Stunned by AIG bonuses…that’s like holding a book and being stunned when someone tells you the ending because your lazy ass won’t read the book.  Ahh, never mind, he’s waiting for the movie to come out.

Why hasn’t he made Treasury select a damned staff yet, so it’s not a one-man show?

China and Russia are openly challenging us, and we’re asking Iran for a truce.  Next maybe we’ll just nuke Isreal ourselves, and let the old Soviet Republic come back, and try it all over again a different way.  This time, lets get soldiers killed through open aggression while we sit back and say, well, they’re just playing. Does this guy sitting in the office even realize that there is a future past today?  I don’t think so, he’s got a photo shoot to worry about this weekend, that stuff with Russia and China will eventually blow over, right?

Why has nobody ever commented on the fact that when Mr Obama talks, he only sounds good, but he doesn’t talk specifics, just vague generalities at best.  He reminds me of the late 20’s, early 30’s great orator who cast the light of dread and doom by saying everything is crumbling, everyone is in despair, only to follow it up with a motivational speech that has a net weight of him just talking with no solutions.

So far in the first 100 days we’ve only seen someone bound and determined to bring the fight back to American soil.  Here we will have even a less of an advantage though, because we have to worry about politicians running campaigns against bad guys, politicians who would rather just give them a chance to be good while they gut us alive.  He’s going to release bad guys back into the wild where so far, that’s been an awesome success, though not for us.  We’re just sending the next generation of field commanders who will be bringing the fight to us back to their armies.  This case has been proven 3 times already in the past 7 months.

There is no perfect solution.  Let AIG and the other heads of finance fall, and maybe it’ll hurt the economy worse, maybe not though.  While the government and news talks about getting out of debt for your own benefit, the country gets in deeper.  You know what debt is?  Is the willing transaction of you, the borrower, giving the lender power over your destiny.  We’re giving this power to China and whoever else offers it.

Clinton pulled us out of Somalia right after we started gaining the initiative in downtown Mo’g.  He pulled us out because the Rangers got their nose bloodied.  Obama is going to pull us out right before Iraq is secure, right as we’re almost ready to make a significant difference where the population feels they have the initiative and can fend for themselves.  We’re going to dump thousands of troops into Afghanistan, because obviously the Soviets had such great success on the same damned terrain with the same damn folks that it’s obvious we’re going to succeed….actually, we could succeed in Afghanistan if it weren’t for politics and political Generals who are scared to make decisions because if they don’t make the “Perfect” one, someone may die.  So we hand the initiative over to the bad guys without even making eye contact, just shuffle our feet away like the skinny kid giving the bully lunch money.

God damned I’m pissed, and more than anything I’m seriously getting more worried.  Mr Obama hasn’t even taken the first few months to pretend that he gives a damn, he’s like that bad spouse you marry and starts cheating on you the second day of your marriage.  I’m more pissed because people in general are just shrugging and smiling, saying well, He will fix this, I’m not worried.  You might as well be doing a turtle dance for rain.

I’m getting a bit concerned myself.
