Upcoming Elections
I have to say, that if the elections come down to McCain and Obama, I’m going to have a real hard time voting.
More or less, I agree more with McCain and the Republican side because I strongly do not feel that a carte Blanche pull-out in SWA will do anything but create a hell of a mess that we’ll be dealing with. It’ll suck the fight to our lands.
I feel that Obama has a great opportunity to unite America more however. What he has the potential to do on the home-front is great. It’s one thing that we haven’t had in this country since the 1950’s, that’s a united country.
Overall, I’m typically more Republican than Democrat in my stance on most issues, with the exception of the ideals of religion and abortion. Those two items I feel are personal in nature and shouldn’t be meddled with by the government, no matter how I feel about them. (personally, I think the Moral right is just as wrong as the hippy left, and abortion, I’m personally against in most circumstances, but feel it’s no right of mine to push that idea upon others).
I am hoping that this is what the elections are going to come down to. I am very glad to see that Romney is endorsing McCain, and jeez-us, I hope Hillary doesn’t get the Democratic nomination…all we need is more of absolutely no change…
