Hammer-time

Today is closing day. I’m glad we found this house. It needs work, but that’s what we were looking for.
I’m excited, though not giddy. I think people think I should be wriggling with anticipation because of this, but I’ve never gotten excited in this way. Either way, I’m looking forward to having something to work on, an area to work, and space so that we don’t have to wait in line to get around the house. It’ll be nice not having to park a quarter mile away when the neighbors invite their whole set of friends and family, but instead a garage. It’ll be nice not having to carry the trash up and around the corner (if I’m lucky and the dumpster isn’t stuffed full) but instead walk it outside. It’ll be great to work the the vehicles in an area that I don’t have to worry about getting in trouble for and don’t have to worry about getting my legs run over.

I’m really looking forward to getting a shop put together so I can start building stuff again.

Anyways, time for work…
