Lack of protein shown to decrease common sense
So there’s a story on MSNBC (Linked to title) that says “Vegan couple sentenced to life over baby’s death”. Apparently, the mom y pop of this baby fed it soy milk and apple juice. The baby died at 6 weeks old, 3.5 pounds.
I know I bitch about the lack of common sense in people quite a bit. I complain about people making decisions that I don’t agree with and endanger other lives for no good reason. I know I probably sound pompous. I don’t care.
I am glad that this couple got life. Maybe the vegan community can put this on their newsletter as well, telling those who forgo any protein from sources other than beans that even though they don’t eat it, it is still a requirement that baby’s get it.
I wonder if vegans think that even breast milk violates their policy that sustenance shouldn’t come from anything breathing O2.
