Transcending Human Nature
Interesting title. Is it possible? I don’t think so.
Us Americans though, think that we’re supposed to, however. Or, more defined, we’re supposed to give the illusion that we do. By somehow not being human but these mythical creatures, what are we trying to say? Can we actually say that we’re enlightened creatures if we can’t even acknowledge what we really are? That in itself creates a infinite error loop with circular logic.
I’m referring to this story, saying that people in th U.S. before 1940 had premarital sex at rates that are constant today.
We will become an enlightened race once we accept those things that make us what we are. We can’t change the inevitable.
